Latest Update of Dengue Cases in Malaysia

There was no update in this reporting period. In epidemiological week 23 (7 to 13 June 2026), 2 732 new dengue cases were reported, an increase from 2 094 cases in week 22. This is higher than the number of cases reported during the same period in 2025 and the 5-year median (2021-2025) (Figure 5). The overall trend of cases has been increasing since week 13. In the same reporting period, one additional death was reported. Cumulatively, a total of 33 697 cases and 24 deaths have been reported in 2026.
